You may want to link a word, or words, in an article to another page from your, or another, web-site. To do this, follow the instructions below, then go to the front end of your site and refresh the window. When you click on the created link, you will be taken to the linked page.
To create a link:
- Go to the editing page of the article that you want to add a link to (to learn how to edit an article go to Managing Content).
- Hi-light the word, or words, that you want to add a link to.
- Click the "Insert/Edit Link" icon in the text box editor. This will open a link editing window with the option to copy/paste a url into a url bar, or browse through a list of the published content in your site.

- Follow the appropriate instructions below to finish adding a link.
Linking to a page on your website:
- Browse through the hierarchy of your content in the link editing page.
- Select the content item that you want to link to.
- Click "Insert." The text will now show in another color to indicate your link has been created.

Linking to a page on another website:
- Open a new internet window, or tab.
- Go to the web page you want to link to.
- From the url bar (address bar) at the top of the page, copy the entire url.
- Go to the link editing window of your article.
- Paste the url you copied into the url bar.
- Click "Insert." The text will now show in another color to indicate your link has been created.

Note: if you wish to break the link, click on the linked word, or words, and click on the break link icon in the text box editor.
